Trip Interruption

Once you have started your trip, Trip Interruption insurance provides coverage amounts of $800, $1,500, or $2,000 for one-way transportation home in the event of an unexpected, insured event.

With this plan, we will pay for your one-way economy transportation home, up to the coverage amount, under three circumstances:
1. If you, a family member, or an insured traveling companion falls sick, is injured, or dies. This also applies to your key employee, or a family member of an insured traveling companion.
2. If a disaster makes your main residence uninhabitable.
3. If the person looking after your dependants falls sick, is injured or dies.

Trip Interruption insurance is available to anyone at least 15 days old who is traveling to or from Canada.
